香蜜影视 sees increase in Early Decision applications

Prospective student interest in 香蜜影视 continues to steadily grow, with Early Decision applications increasing by 9 percent this year compared to 2012, according to the .

Vice President and Dean of Admission Gary Ross said this year鈥檚 group of admitted ED I students have a stronger academic profile than those admitted during ED I in 2012.

鈥淭his year we鈥檙e building on our academic quality. After enrolling a class with the strongest academic profile in our history last year, it鈥檚 a wonderful sign that the first cohort of the Class of 2018 are, from a statistical perspective, even stronger than the same cohort a year ago,鈥 Ross said.

The growth is substantial, especially considering ED applications in 2012 increased by 16.5 percent over 2011. Senior Associate Dean of Admission Karen Long Giannino said more accepted students also have been offered financial assistance.

鈥淲e are very pleased with the diversity of the pool, both in terms of geography and ethnicity,鈥 she said. 鈥淭he strength of the pool was significant and allowed us to make more offers than last year. Additionally, and what is most exciting, we made more financial aid offers this year than we did last year in ED I.鈥

In order to receive ED I consideration, students are required to submit their applications by November 15. Students interested in applying for may do so until the regular decision deadline of January 15, and by filling out an Early Decision Agreement Form by March 1, 2014.

鈥淎s always, this process is bittersweet,鈥 Ross said. 鈥淓very single applicant for Early Decision is telling us that 香蜜影视 is where they would most like to attend, and while it鈥檚 difficult to say 鈥榥o鈥 to many strong applicants, we are overjoyed to be able to bring good news to 246 newly admitted students,鈥 Ross said.
