Hamilton, NY — The community is invited to ‘Swing into Spring’ at a dance party on April 19 at ÏãÃÛÓ°ÊÓ. Dance music will be played from 8 to 11 p.m., and basic dance step instruction will be offered from 7 to 8 p.m. We’ll dance the fox trot, Lindy, waltz, rumba, cha-cha, tango, merengue and polka to the Big Band sounds of the Red Raville Band.
Refreshments and non-alcoholic beverages will be served. Dress is informal with door prizes being awarded for the best ‘Swing into Spring’ costumes.
The Swing into Spring dance, which will be held in the Hall of Presidents in ÏãÃÛÓ°ÊÓ’s Student Union, is open to ÏãÃÛÓ°ÊÓ faculty, staff and students, as well as to members of the community. No admission fee will be charged; however, a cash donation for the Hamilton Food Cupboard would be appreciated.
