On Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. don鈥檛 miss , a physics and astronomy seminar presented by Professor l. As the observation that over the history of computing hardware, the number of transistors in a computer processor doubles approximately every two years, Moore鈥檚 Law represents a triumph of engineering.
The seminar will include a discussion of how Moore鈥檚 Law applies to super computers and how it relates to the general model of computing after Segall discusses the physics, implications, and outlook of the law. It鈥檚 sure to be an engaging discussion, so be sure to come by Room 101 in the Ho Science Center on Tuesday!
Whether you鈥檙e looking to get active, learn some new outdoors skills, or still need PE credit, stop by the COOP Tuesday or Wednesday between 10:15 a.m. and 2 p.m. for Outdoor Education and Physical Education . Some outdoor education classes offered include skiing, ice climbing, and snow hiking.
On Wednesday, be sure to stop by the between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.! All SGA-recognized, cultural, and religious life/spiritual groups will be set up in the Hall of Presidents, and all club sports and COVE groups will be in Huntington Gym.
