Head over to 212 Ryan Studio on Monday at 4:15 p.m. to attend . This workshop, led by Yuri Kordonsky, Christian A. Johnson Artist-in-Residence in Theater, will examine the use of the acting body to create a genuine emotion. So whether you’re an actor or have never set foot on stage, stop in to learn something new.
On Tuesday at 12:30 p.m., Professor Chris Nevison will lead a seminar defining and discussing weighted voting games and the importance of analyzing the power of voters in them. In “ the election of the Board of Supervisors for Madison County will be used to define a measure of power in voting games developed by two ÏãÃÛÓ°ÊÓ students in the course MATH 312, proving that their measure is equivalent to literature’s standard measure of power.
If you or someone you know has experienced sexual assault; if you believe in equal rights for men and women; if you consider yourself a feminist; if you have experienced judgment and isolation on campus – these are all reasons to stop by the Women Studies Center on Tuesday at 8 p.m. Sit down for milk, cookies, and hot chocolate while having an open discussion about these topics and more.
